Teach coding in real time. Start a live class from any compiler and your students watch your code, output, AI explanations, and notes update live โ on any device, with nothing to install.
A Live Class turns any EduSeekho compiler into a real-time classroom. As a teacher, you host a session straight from the compiler you're already using. Students open a link and follow along live โ they see your code being typed, the program output when you run it, AI explanations, and any notes you write, all updating instantly.
Hosting a live class needs the free EduSeekho Live Class browser extension. You only install it once.
Install the EduSeekho Live Class extension for Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. After installing, this guide opens automatically so you know you're ready.
Hosting is granted per teacher by an administrator. If you try to start a class and see a message that hosting isn't allowed, ask your EduSeekho administrator to enable hosting access for your account.
You must be logged in to your EduSeekho account in the same browser. The extension uses your existing login to create and manage classes.
Go to Login Page โOnce installed, hosting a class takes a single click from any compiler page.
Go to any EduSeekho compiler โ C, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, or CSS โ and write or open the code you want to teach.
Open Compilers โClick the EduSeekho Live Class icon in your browser toolbar. It asks "Host a live class on this compiler?" โ choose Yes, start. Your class goes live instantly and a class code is generated.
The extension shows your class code and a shareable link. Share it in one tap via WhatsApp, Gmail, or Copy link. Anyone who opens it (and is logged in) joins as a student.
Just use the compiler normally. As you type code, run programs, generate AI explanations, or write notes, students see it all update in real time. A live bar at the top of the page shows how many students are watching and how long the class has run.
Click End Class โ in the extension popup or on the page's live bar โ and confirm. All students are disconnected and shown a summary. The class duration and attendance are saved automatically.
Students don't install anything. Joining takes two steps.
Tap the link your teacher shared (it looks like eduseekho.com/python/online-compiler/ABC123). It opens the compiler in live-watch mode on any device โ phone, tablet, or computer.
Make sure you're logged in to your EduSeekho account so your attendance is recorded. You'll then see the teacher's code, output, AI explanations, and notes update live.
Go to Login Page โLive classes work across every EduSeekho compiler. What mirrors to students depends on the compiler:
No. Only teachers who host classes need it. Students just open the link in any browser.
Hosting is enabled per account by an administrator. If the extension says hosting isn't allowed, contact your EduSeekho administrator to request access.
No. Students are in a read-only view โ they watch the teacher. This keeps the class focused and in sync.
The class stays open for a short grace period so you can reconnect. If you don't return, it ends automatically and the duration is saved.
