Organize, search, filter, share, and bulk-delete your saved programming files.

📂 What is the Saved Codes dashboard?

Every time you share a program using our sharing button, or save your work to revisit later, it is filed away in your profile. You can access these files via the My Saved Codes option in the profile menu.

Filter by Language Pills

Click on the language pills (such as C, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS) at the top of the dashboard. The list instantly updates to display only the snippets saved under that specific compiler environment, helping you organize homework assignments.

Search Matching Criteria

Use the search input box to query your snippet library. The search engine matches keywords against three columns in your snippets database:

  • Snippet Title: The display name you gave your program.
  • Snippet Description: Custom notes or summaries of what the script does.
  • Source Code Content: The raw text of the program itself (e.g. matching a function call or variable name).

Shareable Link Benefits

Click the link icon on any snippet card. A short, unique 8-character token URL (such as eduseekho.com/c/online-compiler?s=xxxxxxxx) is copied to your clipboard. Sharing this link has two main benefits:

  • Pre-Computed AI Explanations: The recipient loads your exact code and your pre-rendered AI line-by-line explanation automatically—no need for them to trigger a new AI explanation call.
  • No Credit Consumption: Viewing shared codes is free and read-only. It does not consume the viewer's daily run limits or AI credits.

🗑️ Deleting and Cleaning Up Codes

If your list gets messy, you can delete old codes. You can choose to delete one by one or clean up multiple files at once.

Single Code Deletion

Click the red trash bin button at the bottom of the card and confirm the popup warning. The code is removed from the dashboard.

Activate Multi-Select Mode

Click the ☑ Select button at the top header of the code list. Card checkboxes will slide open on every card.

Confirm Bulk Delete

Check the boxes of all the files you want to delete. A blue select bar will rise from the bottom of the page showing the total count. Click Delete Selected and confirm to clean them all up at once!
